Little Learners, Big Space: STEM for Space

Students attending Osan Elementary School build paper rockets during a STEM for Space event at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Sept. 1, 2026. The event taught young students how rockets travel and satellites operate in space. This activity gave students an early look at how science, technology, engineering and mathematics are used to explore space. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Sarah Williams)
