Air Force Reserve Deploys F-16Cs to Kunsan AB Published Sept. 9, 2010 By 090301 OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- The U.S. Air Force is deploying 12 F-16C aircraft from Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base, Fort Worth, Texas and Homestead Air Reserve Base, Florida to Kunsan Air Base on Sept. 11 for approximately four months as part of a scheduled deployment. The approximately 350 Airmen and 12 F-16Cs, activated as the 457th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, will work alongside ROK-US alliance partners to maintain peace and stability to the region. "This deployment reaffirms our commitment in providing the right combat air power and capabilities to protect the Republic of Korea," said Lt. Gen.
