OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea --

The 51st Dental Squadron held its deactivation ceremony at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, June 28, 2021.

Col. Michael Fea, 51st Medical Group commander, and Col. Leon Nieh, 51st Dental Squadron commander, conducted the ceremony which consisted of furling up the squadron flag after Fea gave his final remarks to the 51st DS.

With the deactivation, the 51st DS will be restructured into flights within the 51st MDG and maintain all standard dental operations.
