Coordinates emergency management training and updates/validates specialized teams designated by the MOS/CC. Manages/coordinates commander's Self Inspection Program checklist covering 45 Air Force Instruction directed programs/plans. Time in the military: 6 years and 6 months Time at Osan: 4 months DEROS: February 2013 Family: Wife - Natsumi and Daughter - Hikaru Hometown: El Paso, Texas Hobbies: I play softball for my squadron, play darts with friends, and watching TV Why did you join the military? To visit and explore the world while earning my degree and defending my country. Where do you see yourself in 10 or 20 years? Retiring from Air Force with a degree in International Relations and Asian Studies, and possibly working for Embassy in Japan. What do you do for fun here? I enjoy traveling throughout Korea and Asia in general. I hang out with friends, teach English and play softball. What's your favorite Air Force memory or story? I don't really have a favorite memory or story. Just about every memory from being in the Air force is a good one. What accomplishment are you most proud of? Helping to raise money for, and being a contributor to the Japanese Tsunami Relief effort. While also helping my family in Japan, recover from the March 11th Earthquake and Tsunami last year. Who are your role models? My grandfather who taught me many things growing up and my wife who continues to teach and help me and my daughter.
