National Prayer Breakfast set for Jan. 27 Published Jan. 23, 2012 51st Fighter Wing Public Affairs OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Team Osan will host a free National Prayer Breakfast at 7:30 a.m., Jan. 27 at the Officers' Club for military members and families in all branches of service. The guest speaker is Col. Keith Darlington, Pacific Air Forces command chaplain. He is the principle advisor to the PACAF commander in all matters regarding spiritual care and religious accommodation of Air Force personnel assigned within the command. The theme during the breakfast is "Hope in Times Like These." The National Prayer Breakfast was established in 1953 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Its purpose was to seek divine guidance for national leadership. Osan's remembrance of the National Prayer Breakfast is an opportunity for Team Osan to pray for our nation, our nation's leaders, and our brothers and sisters in arms who are fighting the Global War on Terrorism throughout the world.
