Osan dining facilities to adjust hours Nov. 7

OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea --  Due to a 20 percent budget reduction in the base Mess Attendant contract for FY12, the dining facility will adjust hours of operations Nov. 7, 2011 to stay within allocated funding levels.

"Head count data from the dining facilities show the last 30 minutes of each meal period is utilized significantly less than any other period," said Lt. Col. Joseph Chargualaf, 51st Force Support Squadron commander. "Therefore, beginning Nov. 7, all three dining facilities will close 30 minutes earlier."

The new hours of operations are as follows:

Pac House/Gingko Tree (Monday-Friday):
Breakfast: 0530-0730
Lunch: 1030-1230
Dinner: 1630-1830

Pac House/Ginko Tree (Weekend/Holidays/Down Days):
Breakfast: 0700-0930
Lunch: 1030-1230
Dinner: 1630-1830

Ginko Tree - Midnight Meal Only
(Monday-Thursday): 2330-0130
(Friday-Sunday/Holidays/Down Days): 2230-0030

Back of the Hangar:
Lunch: 1130-1400
Dinner: 1700-1930
