In anticipation of the 2015 US-ROK transition of authority, Intelligence Airmen from 7 AF, 51 FW, 25 FS and ROKAF's 10 FW, 11 FW, 16 FW, 19 FW, and AFOC met at the 25th FS to discuss tactics, techniques, and procedures and share information on conducting squadron operations.

During the visit, Lt Tim Wilde of the 25th FS presented a pre-mission brief and a post-mission debrief. He also highlighted some of the tools he uses to make his job easier. Many exchanges took place and a lot of knowledge was gained. Overall the participants enjoyed the opportunity to share ideas and exchange techniques.

Cross talks like these highlight the cooperation between the USAF and the Republic of Korea Air Force. The US Airman are looking forward to touring Chungju, a ROKAF base and seeing how their counterparts conduct squadron operations.

In response to the first Intel Buddy Wing event, Col Barry Leister, 7th Air Force's Director of Intelligence remarked, "Sharing intelligence TTP and best practices will improve unit-level operations and exemplify the strong, cooperative bond of the ROK-US alliance."
