Airman Spotlight: Airman 1st Class Lekesa Bibb Published Oct. 25, 2010 OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Unit: 36th Fighter Squadron Job title: Aviation Resource Manager Job description and its impact on the overall mission: As a squadron aviation resource manager, I am responsible for providing the 36th Fighter squadron leadership with accurate and up to date aircrew training information through timely updates of the Aviation Resource Management System. Prior to allowing aircrew to proceed to their assigned aircraft, I ensure that they are both professionally and physically qualified to fly, or in other words verifying they are current on all mandated ground and flight training requirements prior to proceeding to the aircraft. I ensure each member is cleared to fly from the flight doctor and if not take action to remove the member from the flying schedule. Simultaneously, while verifying aircrew currencies, I must continually monitor maintenance traffic and weather alerts for events which could potentially affect the day's flying operations. At the conclusion of the flight, we obtain flight time data and training accomplishment information from crew members. As a member of team Osan, I ensure that our pilots are "Ready to Fly, Fight and Win Tonight!" HARRUMPH!!!!!!!!!!!!
