Four teams of five Airmen competed in a "Warrior Challenge," sponsored by the fitness center, at the Osan American High School football field here June 23.

The challenge included seven separate challenges including 30 pushups, a low crawl, 30 sit ups, 20 box jumps, a 50-pound ammo box carry, a sprint and culminated with a four-man litter carry to the finish line.

"The box jumps were by far the most difficult for me," said Senior Airman Jennifer Diaz, who was on the 51st Communications Squadron "Cobra Kai" team. "But my teammates motivated me and pushed me to finish."

The challenge was a timed event and the second through fourth place teams all finished within a few seconds of each other.

The 607th Air Support Operations Group "Roadrunners" distanced themselves from the rest of the pack with an overall time of two minutes, 29 seconds and took home the trophies.

Maj. James Krischke, Roadrunners team captain, waxed poetic when describing the effort displayed by his teammates.

"This awesome team-building event once again validated the unparalleled cohesion of the 607th ASOG Roadrunners," he said. "Beep beep!"
