National CPR and AED awareness week: Begins June 1 and runs througj June 5. For those who are interested in learning CPR, please contact the 51st Medical Group Education and Training Office at 784-9131. 

Musical Comedy Show:  The Osan Officer's Club is hosting a Musical and Comedy Dinner Show called 'Forever Plaid' on Jun 12th. The club is offering an Italian Style Buffet and the doors will open at 6 p.m. and the show will begin at 7 p.m. For more information, please contact the McPherson Community Center at 784-9116.

Chief's Group Golf Tournament: The Osan Chief's Group will be holding its annual golf tournament on Jun 12th beginning at 7 a.m. at the Osan Lakes Golf Course. The cost is $30 per player plus green fees. The fees include cart rental and one free meal ticket. For more information or to register please contact Chief Master Sgt. Cold Steel Sprint Triathlon:  The Cold Steel Sprint Triathlon is scheduled for June 13th at 9 a.m. and is open to anyone who is up for the challenge. The event will begin at the base pool and will consist of elite divisions, age groups and teams. The Pre-registration cost is $25 for individuals and $35 for teams. "Who wants to be a Millionaire" Seminar: The Airman and Family Readiness Center is sponsoring a "Who wants to be a Millionaire" seminar with Kelvin Boston on June 15th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Base Theater. Mr. Boston is a world famous public speaker, distinguished financial journalist and best-selling author who believes that financial education is the key that unlocks the doors to financial success. June Birthday Meal: The June birthday meal at the Gingko Tree dining facility will be Thursday, June 18th. If your birthday is in June, make sure to sign up at either the PAC House or Gingko Tree. Commanders and Shirts, if you have an Airman who has a birthday in June, make sure you have signed up to help serve the birthday meal.

Outdoor Recreation Trips: Since it is getting warmer outside, Outdoor Recreation is starting to offer hiking and mountain bike tours around the peninsula. Call 784-4007 for more information on upcoming trips.

Becoming an Honor Guard Member: Do you have what it takes to become a member of the Base Honor Guard? As a member of the Honor Guard you will be representing the Air Force in both official and public forums. They are looking for officers and enlisted men and women to join their team. If you are interested in joining, please contact the NCOIC at 784-0962. 

Volunteering:  The Airman and Family Readiness Center is always looking for new volunteers. For those members of Team Osan who are interested in volunteering, please contact the AFRC. Also, did you know that the AFRC and Air Force Aid Society can provide guidance on obtaining free childcare for registered base volunteers depending on where they volunteering? For more information on volunteering, please contact Ms. Christy Casper at the AFRC at 784-5440. 

SARC Victim Advocates needed: SARCs provides essential support, liaison services and care to victims of Sexual Assault. Eligibility restrictions apply. For more information, contact Capt. Tresa Strickland at 784-2832. 
 
Osan Animal Shelter: Volunteers 16 years or older are needed to walk and play with dogs and puppies, play with cats and kittens, and help with shelter cleaning during one of the three daily scheduled shelter times. Applications can be picked up at the Osan Veterinary Treatment Facility, at Bldg. 766.
