Tops in Blue made a special appearance to the Republic of Korea Armed Forces Friday to help celebrate the group's 60th anniversary.

The visit was part of the 2008 World Tour titled "Deja Blue" where thirty-seven members of the Air Force's premiere entertainment group serenaded to over 700 ROK Air Force, Army and Navy service members and families.

Tops in Blue, often referred to as "America's goodwill ambassadors around the globe," has toured throughout the United States and to more than 25 countries, with close to 150 performances over a 10-month period.

Following the Tops in Blues performance to the ROK, the team traveled to perform to the U.S. and ROK Air Force military members at Osan Air Base, continuing their long-standing tradition of "family entertaining family."

Over 900 Osan Airmen and families attended Saturday and Sunday's show, including 7th Air Force commander, Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Remington, and Republic of Korea Air Force Operations Command commander, Lt. Gen. Chang Hwan Oh.

"It means a lot that Tops in Blue dedicated their time to visit us, especially around this time of year. It shows they recognize that we are away from our families and they come here to perform to us," said 1st Lt. Christina Norton, Contingency Plans Officer in Charge. "At the same time, they are away from their families too. We share a common bond," she said.

Tops in Blue has performed for Osan every year for the last three decades, inspiring troops and keeping morale high.

"It's the best performance I've seen in 30 years," said Ms. Eve Robinson, Osan Community Center director. "I have so much admiration for the members in Tops in Blue. They represent the best and most talented of the Air Force. While their job is to entertain these Airmen are still warriors."

Tops in Blue Airmen display pride, patriotism and dedication as they continue the 55-year tradition of presenting action-packed performances that showcase the Air Force to personnel and communities around the world.
