Nonjudicial punishments

OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea --  The following Airmen received Article 15s during the week of Oct. 6 to 17. 

-- A senior airman assigned to the 51st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received an Article 15 for simple assault, and for being drunk and disorderly.

Punishment consisted of a reduction to airman first class, suspended reduction to airman (E-2), restriction to the base for 60 days, restriction from alcohol serving establishments for 60 days and a reprimand.

-- A staff sergeant from the 51st Communications Squadron received an Article 15 for insubordinate conduct and making a false official statement regarding military affiliation. 

Punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to the grade of senior airman, suspended forfeitures of $650 pay per month for two months, restriction to base for 30 days, restriction from alcohol serving facilities for 30 days and a reprimand.

-- A staff sergeant from the 51st Communications Squadron received an Article 15 for making a false official statement regarding military affiliation. 

Punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to the grade of senior airman, suspended forfeitures of $600 pay per month for two months, restriction to base for 15 days, restriction from alcohol serving facilities for 15 days and a reprimand.

-- An airman first class assigned to the 51st Security Forces Squadron received an Article 15 for failure to obey -- violating curfew and consuming alcohol under the age of 21. 

Punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to the grade of Airman, forfeitures of $754 pay per month for two months, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand. 

-- An airman first class assigned to the 51st Security Forces Squadron received an Article 15 for misbehavior of a sentinel by falling asleep on post. 

Punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to Airman, forfeiture of $754 pay per month for 2 months, 20 days extra duty and a reprimand.

-- A master sergeant assigned to the 51st Security Forces Squadron received an Article 15 for failure to obey a lawful regulation -- violating curfew. 

Punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to technical sergeant, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand.

-- An airman first class from the 604th Air Support Operations Squadron received an Article 15 for failure to go to their place of duty at the appointed time. 

Punishment consisted of a reduction to airman (E-2).
