Nonjudicial punishments

The following Airmen received Article 15s during the week of Sept. to 12:

-- A senior airman from the 51st Maintenance Squadron received an Article 15 for failure to obey a lawful order by using the government travel card for unauthorized purchases. 

Punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to the grade of airman first class, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.

-- An airman first class from the 51st Security Forces Squadron received an Article 15 for failure to obey a lawful order by drinking under the age of 21. 

Punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to the grade of airman, (E-2), forfeiture of $754 pay, and 20 days extra duty.

-- A senior airman from the 51st Security Forces Squadron received an Article 15 for failure to obey a lawful general regulation -- entering an off-limits establishment. 

Punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of airman first class, forfeiture of $894 pay, and 20 days extra duty.

-- A staff sergeant from 18th Intelligence Squadron, Detachment 2, received an Article 15 for insubordinate conduct -- being disrespectful in language to a noncommissioned officer; failure to obey lawful order -- refusing to provide an ID card; resisting apprehension, simple assault, and being drunk and disorderly. 

Punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of senior airman, restriction to base for 45 days, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand.

-- An airman first class from the 51st Security Forces Squadron received an Article 15 for failure to obey a lawful general regulation: wearing piercings while in uniform. 

Punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of airman, (E-2), a suspended reduction to airman basic, and forfeiture of $673 pay.
