Nonjudicial punishment Published May 22, 2008 51st Fighter Wing Legal Office OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- The following Airmen received Article 15s during the week of May 12 to 16. -- A staff sergeant from the 51st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron had a suspended punishment action vacated for riding a bicycle while intoxicated. Punishment consisted of reduction to E-4. -- A staff sergeant from the 51st Civil Engineering Squadron received an Article 15 for being disrespectful to a senior noncommissioned officer, violation of General Order #1, and for being drunk and disorderly. Punishment consisted of suspended reduction to E-4, forfeitures of $285 pay per month for two months, restriction to base for 45 days and 45 days extra duty. -- A senior airman from the 51st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron had a suspended punishment action vacated for communicating a threat to a senior noncommissioned officer and for being drunk and disorderly. Punishment consisted of reduction to E-3. -- An airman first class from the 51st Logistics Readiness Squadron received an Article 15 for violation of a lawful order by breaking curfew and for a false official statement by attempting to claim that he was a civilian and not military. Punishment consisted of reduction to E-2, with a suspended reduction to E-1, restriction to base for 45 days, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand. -- A senior airman from the 51st Maintenance Operations Squadron received an Article 15 for making a false official statement. Punishment consisted of reduction to E-3, restriction to base for 45 days, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand. -- A senior airman assigned to the 5th Reconnaissance Squadron received an Article 15 for violation of a lawful order by breaking curfew. Punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to E-3, restriction to base for 30 days, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand. -- A senior airman from the 51st Communications Squadron received an Article 15 for assault by striking an individual in the face. Punishment consisted of suspended reduction to E-3, forfeitures of $425 pay per month for two months, restriction to base for 30 days and a reprimand.
