Nonjudicial punishment - April 21 to 25

OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea --  The following Airmen received nonjudical punishment during the week of April 21 to 25:

-- An airman first class from the 51st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron accepted NJP for failure to obey a lawful general order by consuming alcohol while under the legal drinking age.

Punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to E-2, restriction from alcohol establishments for 45 days, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand.

-- A senior airman assigned to the 51st Security Forces Squadron accepted NJP for wrongful appropriation by stealing a laptop.

Punishment consisted of reduction to E-2, with reduction to E-1 suspended, restriction to base for 45 days, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand.

-- An airman first class from the 51st Security Forces Squadron accepted NJP for willfully disobeying a superior commissioned officer, failure to obey a lawful order, failure to go to his/her appointed place of duty, and for making a false official statement.

Punishment consisted of reduction to E-2, with reduction to E-1 suspended, restriction to base for 45 days, 15 days extra duty and a reprimand.

-- An airman first class from the 51st Security Forces Squadron accepted NJP for dereliction of duty by failing to check line badges as required and for allowing unauthorized personnel into a secure area.

Punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to E-2 and a reprimand.

-- A senior airman from the 5th Reconnaissance Squadron accepted NJP for failure to obey a lawful general order by violating curfew and for resisting apprehension.

Punishment consisted of reduction to E-3, restriction to base for 30 days, 15 days extra duty and a reprimand.

-- A technical sergeant assigned to the 607th Materiel Maintenance Squadron accepted NJP for failure to obey a lawful general order by violating curfew.

Punishment consisted of suspended reduction to E-5, forfeiture of $1,361 pay per month, with portion above $900 pay per month for two months suspended, restriction from alcohol establishments for 30 days, suspended restriction to base for 30 days, 15 days extra duty suspended and a reprimand.
