Team Osan will host its National Prayer Breakfast at 8 a.m., Feb. 15 at the officers' club

The guest speaker is Maj. Gen. Johnny Weida, U.S. Forces Korea deputy chief of staff. The general is responsible for all reception, staging, onward movement and integration of U.S. forces deploying to Korea. He also helps direct, coordinate and integrate USFK joint staff and component command actions.

The general's message is "Leadership in challenging times: balancing faith and profession in the world's greatest Air Force."

The National Prayer Breakfast was established in 1953 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Its purpose was to seek divine guidance for national leadership.

Osan's remembrance of the National Prayer Breakfast is an opportunity for Team Osan to pray for our nation, our nation's leaders, and our brothers and sisters in arms who are fighting the Global War on Terror throughout the world.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased from unit first sergeants. A breakfast buffet will be served. For more information, call 784-5000.
