Members from the 51st Civil Engineer Squadron's Fire Department were tested with a scenario Sept. 16, 2014, at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea.

The scenario involved a simlualted fire in the Air Traffic Control tower on base. In addition to having to respond to the fire, the first responders were also required to save a simulated victim stranded atop the tower. To test this ability, firefighters employed a 100 foot ladder attached to their truck.

The scenario was part of the Operational Readiness Exercise Beverly Midnight 14-4 which is designed to test Team Osan's joint operability, command and control and beddown procedures.
