51st MXG hails new commander

The 51st Maintenance Group held an assumption of command ceremony Aug. 1 at hanger 1732 on Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea.

Col. Victor Mora, new 51st MXG commander, assumed command of the group consisting of four squadrons containing over 1300 Airman between them.

Mora came from the 56th MXG at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. He was in charge of three squadrons comprised of more than 138 F-16s for the Air Force's only active duty F-16 training wing. As group commander he also was in command of over 2,000 Airman.

Mora is excited to work with all the Airmen of the 51st MXG and is happy to be at Osan.

"Osan is exactly where I want to be," said Mora. "I look forward to serving with each and every one of you."
