Job title: Weather Forecaster

Job description and its impact on the overall mission: I provide mission planning and execution weather for Osan and locations around the Peninsula, which are vital to 25th and 36th Fighter Squadrons' missions. Weather information often shapes the location of flying, ordinances used and timing of takeoff and landing. I also forecast takeoff, landing and en route weather for crucial Armistice ISR over watch. Additionally, I forecast weather for the Osan Aerodrome which is used for all in and outbound flights to Osan as well as resource protection to the base populace and assets.

Time in the military: Seven Years

Hobbies: Music, Sports, reading, RC helicopters

Why did you join the military? I joined the military to gain the discipline to better myself as a person and in order to travel the world.

Where do you see yourself in 10 or 20 years? Ideally, I would like to complete my degree in either engineering or petroleum geology and follow in my father's footsteps.

What do you do for fun here? Explore Korea and all it has to offer.

What's your favorite Air Force memory or story? My favorite AF memory is the time I spent TDY at Camp Atterbury's JMTC facility working with the Army in combined operations learning combat and survival skills.

What accomplishment are you most proud of? I'm extremely proud of the forecasting knowledge I was able to gather while employed at the 26th Operational Weather Squadron at Barksdale AFB.
