Weather squadron visits local school
A child from the Kyesung-Elementary School in Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea, finishes a workbook lesson that helps her learn the English alphabet during a visit from Airmen with the Detachment 2, 607th Weather Squadron located at Camp Humphreys, ROK, Aug. 1, 2013. The two Airmen from the weather squadron spent the morning with the children, teaching them about what they do as weather forecasters for the U.S. Air Force and helping them with their English. U.S service members throughout the peninsula visit with members of the local ROK community to help better understand each other’s cultures and enhance international relationships.
