Two 51st Fighter Wing members were recognized as the top Category III civilian and company grade officer, during the 7th Air Force Annual Awards Banquet here, Feb. 26.

The annual event recognizes the top Airmen and civilians throughout 7th Air Force.

Bryan Kwasniewski, chief of plans and programs, 51st Security Forces Squadron, and Capt. Daniel Lindsey, 36th Fighter Squadron B-Flight commander, earned the right to represent the 51st Fighter Wing after being selected at the 51st Fighter Wing Annual Awards banquet.

Mr. Kwasniewski , a former military policeman for the Army, praised the efforts of his teammates as a main contributor to the award.

"I am very honored to have received these awards, but I am more proud that I can share these awards with my section at work. It is because of them I am able to be recognized. I wish I could add all their names to the awards," Mr. Kwasniewski said. "All the Airmen of the 51 SFS Plans and Programs 'Pandas' appreciate the acknowledgment of being the best for 2010."

Captain Lindsey, an F-16 Evaluator and instructor pilot, also credited others for their contributions.

"This award is a reflection of all the hard work each and every member in the 51st and 7th AF has done," Capt. Lindsey said.  "I'm honored and humbled to receive it."

Mr. Kwasniewski and Capt. Lindsey will now compete at the Pacific Air Forces level.
