Job title: Unit Deployment Manager

Job description and its impact on the overall mission: The Air Force unit deployment manager's responsibility is to conduct all administrative functions for servicemembers that are deployed to accomplish the Air Force mission in peace or wartime scenarios. A deployment manager is also responsible for the accounting and deployment of logistical items and equipment for Air Force operations. The deployment manager acts as a liaison between other Air Force units that have mobility designations for health assessment of troops and individual medical readiness databases to ensure that unit troops have updated immunization records. Manages the ISOPREP program to ensure accountability of 300 for MDG personnel.

Why did you join the military? I came from a military family. The Air Force was by far the best option for me.

Where do you see yourself in 10 or 20 years?: In 10 to 20 years, I see myself working as a radiologist.

What do you do for fun here? For fun at Osan, I play sports and listen to music.

What's your favorite Air Force memory or story?: My favorite Air Force memory is getting to meet and shake the hand of President Obama.

What accomplishment are you most proud of? The accomplishment I'm most proud of is being a part of the base basketball team when we were the undefeated base Champions at Elmendorff, AFB, Alaska. Another is taking on the ISOPREP program and bringing it from a 2% accountability to more than 98% within one week and was recognized by leadership for my efforts.

Who are your role models? My mother is my role model and hero. She was a Drill Sergeant in the Army.
