Benjamin Rojek 51st Fighter Wing Public Affairs OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- The 51st Services Squadron's Enlisted and Officers' Clubs are hosting the Friendship Festival Karaoke Competition at 8 p.m. nightly Oct. 2-6 here. The winner of the competition will be invited to sing at the opening ceremony of the Korean/American Friendship Festival on Oct. 13 in the Shinjang Shopping Mall in Songtan. The festival drew more than 40,000 people last year. The competition begins tonight at the Mustang Club. It will continue tomorrow night at the Challenger Club, then again at the Mustang Club Thursday, followed by the final qualifier at the Officers' Club on Friday. The winners from each of the four nights will compete Saturday at the Challenger Club. All types of musical genres are eligible. "Our karaoke library contains over 10,000 songs, so I'm sure we have something for anyone," said Mr. Sean Lehr, Enlisted Club Complex manager. "This is a great opportunity to win the chance to show off your singing talent and represent Osan Air Base to our Korean neighbors," said Mr. Lehr.' Besides this competition, Team Osan has the chance to sing karaoke four times a week between the two Enlisted Clubs.
