Colonel E. Jonelle Eychner is the Commander, 51st Mission Support Group, Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. As the Group commander, she leads five diverse squadrons that provide base communications, engineering, security, law enforcement, transportation, supply, personnel support, logistics readiness, education, food services, housing, and recreation activities to over 2,700 personnel, supporting the Air Force’s most permanently forward-deployed wing, a Numbered Air Force, and 24 tenant units.
Colonel Eychner earned her commission in 1998 as a distinguished graduate of the Reserve Officer Training Corps at Texas Tech University. She’s had various assignments in the Services and Personnel career fields and commanded the 60th Force Support Squadron at Travis Air Force Base California. She’s served at the Combatant Command and Headquarters Air Force level, and at the Air Force’s Personnel Center. Colonel Eychner has deployed multiple times executing various services and personnel functions at various locations in Central Command; her most recent deployment was as Deputy Director of Manpower and Personnel in the NATO Train, Advise and Assist Command-Air and Air Forces Central Command’s 438th Air Expeditionary Wing, Kabul Afghanistan.
She’s married to Brad Eychner and has two boys, Aiden and Emmett.
