Congratulations on your assignment to Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea (ROK).  Located just 48 miles south of the Korean De-militarized Zone (DMZ), Osan is home to the "Mustangs" of  the 51st Fighter Wing, the Air Force's most forward deployed permanently-based fighter wing.  In addition, Osan is home to our numbered Air Force headquarters and several tenant units.  Team Osan's primary mission is to maintain combat readiness, with each of us playing a vital role in defending the ROK and maintaining  stability in Northeast Asia.

Have you been selected for an unaccompanied assignment to Osan, but want to bring your family? There is currently a waiting list for personnel requesting a Command Sponsored billet. Please email 51fss.fsmpmforvemana@osan.af.mil to find out how to get added to the waiting list. Concurrent travel is not automatic at Osan!

A concurrent travel waiver is required for dependents to PCS at the same time as their sponsor.
