OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Brooke Garrison, 51st Force Support Squadron military postal clerk, was recognized as Mustang of the Week at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, April 26, 2024.
Since arriving in 2023, Garrison has taken strides to improve her unit, supporting two sections: Postal Service Center and Official Postal Center.
The Osan AB Postal Office operates as an extension of the United States Postal Service, providing postal services to service members, dependents, and Department of Defense civilians overseas during both normal and contingency operations.
Despite Osan AB being Garrison’s first duty assignment, she quickly moved through training and went above and beyond on every task she was given.
Her contributions not only enhanced her unit, but improved operations within the 51st Fighter Wing, as she held a pivotal role for handling all incoming and outgoing mail, servicing more than 8,000 members.
Garrison’s dedication to her work and outstanding professionalism exemplify the caliber of personnel essential to Osan’s mission success.
