New GTC cards arriving Published Aug. 21, 2008 By The Defense Travel Management Office OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- New Government Travel Charge Cards issued by Citi will be distributed in a phased approach beginning in August continuing through the end of September. The first phase of card distribution will include locations outside the continental U.S. followed by all Centrally Billed Accounts. The next phase will be mailed to continental U.S. addresses beginning with the western states and moving eastward. Cardholders are advised to confirm their mailing addresses on file with Bank of America as new travel cards will be mailed to that address. Cards that are sent to an incorrect address will be returned to Citi. APCs will not have the option to forward the cards to new addresses. If cardholders do not receive a new travel card by Oct. 31, they are instructed to notify their APC. New cards will have a new look and a new account number. Cardholders should verify receipt of new cards immediately. Cardholders should not to throw away old cards as new cards are not ready for use until Nov. 30.
